Charles Hinckley — Investment Banker based in New York
Having co-led a renewable energy and clean tech focused office in New York City, Charles (Chuck) Hinckley has provided investment banking services for more than two decades. He earned a bachelor’s in physics from Miami University and went on to fulfill leadership roles at AWCC Capital, Noble Environmental Power, CC Hinckley Co. and Marathon Capital. Among his accomplishments, Charles Hinckley received multiple Deal of the Year awards for financial innovation in project financing transactions.
Further, while managing a high-value portfolio of more than 200 wind and solar transactions, Chuck Hinckley implemented measures that avoided recording a single impairment. In addition to these positions, he has operated his own financial services firm in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, since 1998. Furnishing investment banking solutions, he helps power plant clients achieve their financial and development objectives in the US and internationally.
For instance, he has assisted with solar power, gas turbine combined cycle, and wind power projects. With a commitment to establishing long-term business relationships, Mr. Hinckley has served clients such as GE Capital, JP Morgan Partners, GE Capital, Duke Energy, and Thomas H. Lee Partners.
